Jessie Salvesen

Jessie began dancing at Dorothy’s when she was  young which eventually led to her being invited to be a part of the award winning DSD Dance Company. While attending East Meadow High School, she was chosen to be a part of her school's competitive kickline. In her Senior year she was selected to be  the captain. After attending a UDA camp, she was invited to and performed on National TV in the 2008 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. She is currently attending C.W. Post where she is majoring in nutrition and continues to study dance there. Jessie knows all to well how to work exceptionally with children of all ages. She is from a warm nurturing & fabulous family of six children. Her eldest sister is only one year older and the youngest of the group being only age 2! Working many years as a teacher's assistant at DSD, she has more then proven herself to be an asset and now we are extremely thrilled for her to be instructing her own classes this year!
